367 Yards – Blue Tees – #11 Handicap Hole

297 Yards – Red/Gold Tees – #11 Handicap Hole
The 9th hole is a medium length, slightly downhill, par 4, bordered by Cheese Factory Road and out-of-bounds on the left, and the 1st fairway and rough on the right. The green is guarded on both fronts by grassy mounds. Large rocks abound left of the green. A tree topped mound behind the green fronts the out-of-bounds fence line bordering the parking lot. The cart path and pond right complete the obstacles on the closing front nine hole. The medium sized round green slopes generously from back left to front right.
Playing Tip:
Again anywhere not in trouble with a clear shot to the green is necessary to complete the front nine. A long iron or fairway wood off the tee can often catch the downslope to the fairway and run well inside the 150 yard marker. Avoid the out-of-bounds road left, although at times a fortuitous bounce from the road can end up in bounds and greenside among the rocks. Enjoy the panoramic view of the clubhouse and Oneida Lake in the distance from the tee.
